• QRS may be narrow or wide: Escape!
  • If AV node affected → narrow → Junctional escape rhythm (40-60 bpm)
  • If distal to Bundle of His affected → wide → Ventricular escape rhythm (<40 bpm)
• If there is no QRS: No Escape
  • Degenerated bc of age (age-related conduction block)
  • Shockable but won’t help (issue is with AV node)
