Presentation

Pain: constant numbness, preceded by neck pain, associated disc disease, pain is severe and is at its peak the first couple of weeks

• Radiating: referred
• As pain subside, it will develop FIXED numbness
• C5 -> referred shoulder pain
• Common: C6, C7
• Pain is not a good localization as it is often referred, location of sensory symptoms (e.g. numbness) is more important
