Procedure

• Taken at right radial artery
• Very hard to take
• Important to take if the Pt have suspected respiratory problem
  • VBG doesn’t have PaO2 information

Normal values

• (pH/PaCO2/PaO2/HCO3)
• (7.4/40/100/24)

*Note: 3 is wrong → Resp AC should be 1/3 (acute vs. chronic), Resp AK should be 2/5 (acute vs. chronic)
