Peri-operative management

• Surgery Pre-op Risk Assessment and Optimization
  • Major surgery → usually stop 4–7 days, restart within 48 hr
  • Minor surgery → continue
  • Neurosurgery/spine → stop 7 days
  • Stents or high CV risk → avoid stopping when possible
