Characteristic

• No P wave/More P waves than QRS

  • Sawtooth P waves in inferior leads (II, III, aVF), only seen if <130

    

    1. No Iso-electric line
    2. Consistent P wave patterns

• HR 130-170

  • Atrial rate = 300 bpm
    • AV node reduce Atrial Rate by half, so you get final HR of half of that
  • Ventricular rate can be regular or irregular
    • regular = same conduction ratio (2:1, 3:1)
