Common
- Fever (2-3 dys)
- Orthostatic hypotension (in titration)
- Salivation (Hypersialorrhea)
- Constipation
Rare but severe
- Agranulocytosis (first 4 to 6 months) & neutropenia (any time)
- Cardiomyopathy (late) & myocarditis (early)
- Bowel Obstruction
- Seizure (when > 500 mg daily) → Valproate, CI: G
- Quit smoking = higher risk of seizures
