• MOA: Competitive Inhibition of ADH
• More accessible and cost-effective but requires careful monitoring, frequent dosing, and has more potential side effects.
  • Maximum: Respiration depression (Anesthetize) -> may need to intubate
  • 5 – 1.0 g/kg IV loading dose of 15% or less ethanol solution
  • Monitor: ethanol level in blood
