• Superficial wound dehiscence = not too worried
• Deep fascia wound dehiscence = worried → if fascia open, skin closed, LT consequence: Incisional Hernia
  • e.g. Laparotomy → +++ drainage of pink, salmon colour fluid POD5 → BAD
  • Lead to wound opening and bowel evisceration
