A/E

@ insertion: Perforation, vasovagal reaction

LT: Explusion (check in 4 wk), Pelvic Infection unrelated to STI

If failed: Higher risk of !Ectopic Pregnancy (5%) and Miscarriage

Counsel

• Do pregnancy test before putting in
• Should be able to feel the string but not the device
• RTC in 1 month for device check
