Observation
- Are they only paying attention to one side of the bed?
- Are they only eating food on one half of the plate?
- Are they bumping into objects or walls with one side of their body?
Sensory and Motor tests

Sensory (R medial thalamus, Anterior Cingulate, Parietal lobe)
- Confirm no sensory loss
- Simultaneous bilateral input of:
- Tactile
- Visual (double stimulus in 1 visual field)
- Auditory

Motor (R lateral thalamus, BG - Striatum, DL frontal lobe)
- Confirm no motor weakness
- Ask Pt to raise both arms at the same time → neglect: one arm lower
