1hr GCT

• Introduce 50g PO glucose, measures BG in 1hr

  Normal	< 7.8 mmol	No further testing
  Diagnostic	> 11.0 mmol	Gestational DM
  Equivocal	7.8-11 mmol	goes to 75g

2hr GTT

• Introduce 75g of PO glucose, measures BG in 2hr

  Normal	< 7.8 mmol	No further testing
  Diagnostic	> 11.0 mmol	Gestational DM
  Equivocal	7.8-11 mmol	Alternative diagnostic Test
