- Lip (cyanosis, lesions)
Inside:
- Oral hygiene
- Gingivae and teeth (color, inflammation)
- Buccal mucosa (color, inflammation)
  - Parotid → 2ed upper molar (Stenson’s duct)
  - Lichen Planus
- Tongue (moist, fissure or furrow, lesions, CN XII)
  - Ankyloglossia
- Floor of the mouth (lesions)
  - Lift up the tongue
  - Submandibular→ lingual frenulum (Wharton’s duct)
- Palate (lesions)
  - Suppress the tongue
  - “Petechiae” on Soft Palate
  - High arched → Adenoid Hypertrophy
  - Bony protusion → Torus Palatinus (Benign)
- Oropharynx (Color, lesions, CN IX and X → is Uvula midline, Tonsils)
  - Say ‘ah’ for me
  - Soft palate, uvula, tonsils
  - Uvula
    - Bifad Uvula → submucosal cleft
  - Tonsil
    - Acute Tonsillitis
    - Kissing Tonsil

- Submandibular: use both hands
- Indurated (not soft) + Forg neck→ !Ludwig Angina (Airway emergency)
Anterior 2/3 and lateral aspect of the tongue
- Texture, firm areas, masses, ulcerations
