Assess:

1. Cardiovascular → Pediatric Vitals
   1. BP, HR, PP
2. Skin appearance → General Inspection
   1. Colour (mottling/acrocyanosis), temperature, capillary Refill < 2s
3. CNS → Modified GCS for Children
   1. Alertness, LOC
4. Urine Output (Wet Diapers for NB ?)
5. Weight loss → know Birth Weight (2.5 - 4.5), Pediatric Growth Assessment
6. Physical Exam Finding → Routine Newborn Exam
   • Mucous membranes: buccal mucosa etc.
   • Fontanelle Exam → Anterior fontanelle (typically closes before age 2 y.o.)
   • Eyes (normal, sunken, or markedly sunken)
   • Skin turgor (normal, decr, or tentin)
