Inflammation of the bursa associated with the Pes Anserinus

• sartorius
• gracilis
• semitendinosus

Presentation:

• Medial Knee Pain felt 5 cm below the joint line on physical exam

Risk factors:

• Overuse
• Obesity
• OA - Osteoarthritis
• Knee mal-alignment

Treatment:

• Self-limited
  • RICE (Soft Tissue Injury) but no Physio
  • Activity modification
