• Isotretinoin - moderate-severe acne, nodulocystic acne, scarring acne
• Acitretin - psoriasis, SCC prevention
• Alitretinoin - severe hand dermatitis

AD (3):

• xerosis (dryness of skin), dryness of mucosa membrane, chelitis (Kai-li-tis)

  

• In pregnancy: Retinoid Embryopathy

Rare but serious:

• Mood changes, inflammatory bowel disease, alopecia, night vision, hyperostosis, pseudotumor cerebri

CI: pregancy → Gravidum

• Pt w/ child-bearing potential: need 2 forms of contraception
