Positive symptoms	‣ + ‣ (tend to be auditory) = Psychosis, disorganized speech, grossly disorganized or catatonic behavior,
Negative symptoms	affective flattening, alogia, avolition
Cognitive symptoms	Dysfunctions in working memory, attention, processing speed, visual and verbal learning with substantial deficit in reasoning, planning, abstract thinking and problem solving

Risk factors

Male (2:1 ratio between M & F)
- M average: 23 yo (30% < 30 yo)
- F average: 40 yo
Genetic Predisposition (80%)
T1 maternal viral infection (or its treatment) ?
- urban vs. rural
- season of birth
- migration, race, geography
