Imaging Sign
Complications
- AVN - Avascular Necrosis
- Chrondolysis
- Neurovascular compromises
- Soft tissue attenuation
- Chronic recurrent instability (likely to dislocate again)
- Fibrosis of soft tissue → Irreducible shoulder
Management

Reduce urgently with sedation.
Always get post-reduction X-rays and NV exam.
Don’t wait for imaging if the limb is grossly deformed—reduce first
