Pre-28 wk
- Fetal remains/pregnancy related tissues can be disposed as medical waste
Post 28 wk
- Considered Fetal Demise (Still Birth)
- Need to submit a certificate of stillbirth
- Parent + Physician fills in reason
- Fetus must be managed according to human remains
