A Zenker's diverticulum is an outpouching at laryngopharnx , right above the UES (cricopharynxgeus muscle)

Risk Factor

• Age > 60

Presentation

• Food being stuck at the back of the throat
• Signs of Oropharygneal Dysphagia
• Halitosis

Diagnosis

• Barium Swallow Test

Treatment

• Small and asymptomatic: untreated
• Large and symptomatic: surgery
