• Risk of uncontrolled bleeding → !Shock , Major Hemorrhage
• Investigation: CBC, INR, PT, Blood Screen + Group (ready for transfusion)
• Management: IV for shock, platelet transfusion,

• Immune
  • HIV, HCV
  • SLE - Lupus (older)
  • Drug → !HIT, Transfusion
  • Lymphoproliferative disorder
  • ITP - Immune Thrombocytopenia (Most common in children → ISOLATED thrombocytopenia)
    • IVIG
    • Corticosteroid

Non-Immune

• !TTP (will be anemia + thrombocytopenia) → *Emergency, must rule out
• Production
• Sequestering (Splenomegaly )
  • Liver diseases (most common in adult)
    • Cirrhosis → Portal Hypertension
