Etiology

• Autoimmune Disease
  • Targeting skeletal muscle, can involve cardiac muscle as well
• Can be an isolated disease, or a figure of other SARD, such as SLE - Lupus

• ILD - Interstitial Lung Disease → CTD-associated ILD

• Dermatomyositis: Skin involvement

  

  • Gottron's rash
  • Heliotrope rash
  • Shawl’s sign

• Inflammatory Joint Pain

• Gyne Onc: Ovarian cancer, Cervical cancer
• Lung Cancer
• Gastric Cancer, Pancreatic Cancer
• Bladder Cancer - TCC
