Medications

• PG Analogy (“prost”)
• Beta Blocker (”-prolol”) : , betaxolo eyedrop
  • Press side of the nose, and close the eyelid for 3-5 min
  • MOA: increase drainage
  • A/E: Systemic side-effect
    • Tear duct → nose → nasal mucosa will absorb the beta blocker → Bypass liver
  • CI: Reactive airway disease (Bronchospasm), any heart conduction blocks
• PCSK9 inhibitors, CI: N/A : Acetazolamide
• α2 agonist : Brimonidine
  • MOA: Decreased production + increase drainage

!Anterior Uveitis → Inflammation induce obstruction of the outflow

Neovascular glaucoma → can be open as well
