Diagnostic Criteria (2/3)

1. Hyperandrogenism
2. Oligo-amenorrhea or irregular cycle
3. Policystic Ovaries (Any causes of oligo-anovulation can lead to the presentation of Polycystic ovaries → stuck follicles that look like cysts)

• Especially Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia </aside>

PCOS investigation

History:

• S/S of Hyperandrogenism and Oligo-amenorrhea
  • Rule out other causes
• Tend to have high BMI (18.5 - 25)

Labs:

• Pelvic US → Polycystic ovaries
• T2DM tests

NCAH → similar lab findings
