Epidemiology

• 1 in 8 women in Canada will develop breast cancer during their lifetime
• 50% people find their own breast cancer

Presentation

Clinical presentation (HPI)

• Galactorrhea
• Palpable Breast Mass +/-Tender Breast
  • Higher BC suspicion if presented in Menopause

Physical Exams

• Breast Exam
• Axillary Lymph Node Exam and Inferior cervical node

Risk factors

BC risk is Independent for each breast

• Non-modifiable
• Modifiable

• Lactation (Breast Feeding)
• Physical Activity & Exercise
• Vitamin D Supplement
