Criteria (4 symptoms)

1. Proteinuria (Urine Albumin > 3.5 g/dy )
2. Hypoalbuminemia (< 40)
3. Generalized Edema
   • Primary Na retention → plasmin production → Increased Na reabsorption through activatingENaC at Cortical CD → Water follows
4. Increased LDL-C
   • By-product of liver’s overproduction of albumin

  • HIV → secondary FSGN
• Amyloidosis
  • RA - Rheumatoid Arthritis
  • MM - Multiple Myeloma
• Diabetic Nephropathy (T2DM )
• Drugs
  • NSAID (incl. ASA, COX2i) → MCD, MN
  • TNF-a inhibitor → MN
• Idiopathic
